Anode's exasperation with Flame's vagueness is probably the best part of this.
(Almost as good as seeing who the Grand Architect is.)

"I thought we all agreed that these terms were pointlessly ambiguous. I mean, that was a deliberate order to kill them, wasn't it?"
"... they have become a nuisance."
"Oh, well that's no good!"
"What are you talking about, Alan? That was perfectly clear!"
"Yeah, a nuisance, or one we have to murder?"
"Please... deal with the Blacksmith situation."

Well, we didn't get Skids back yet, but the door's open in the future, yay!

And the Magnificence , didn't expect to see that again.

Nautica ultimately prioritizing Velocity worked a lot better for me before we found out she'd stopped caring about Skids by then. Not as bad as Deathsaurus only washing his hands of Tarn when his own guilt was literally weaponized against him, but still disappointing.

I dunno, for me that was the best part. It's a scary concept, the idea that our feelings are reducible to electrical impulses, but it's one we have to come to grips with sometimes. And now, so will Velocity.

Eh, the forgetting itself I'm fascinated and appropriately horrified by and I am curious to see where it goes. In context, it ruined Nautica's decision for me. But to each their own, of course.
