Nothing related to this specifically, but I seriously cannot get a read on this series on what it's trying to do or be. It's like the worlds most ambitious, least consistent soap opera except with superheroes fighting each other.
The first series was about establishing how the world of Injustice came to be. I didn’t think it needed five whole years, but they made it work I hear. This one seems to be about filling in the blanks between the two games, but there really isn’t that much to fill in. So we get things like this Ra’as Al Ghul story that feels like filler despite being the main story.
At least stuff like that in the first series served to explain how things got to the point where Batman had no choice but to pull in an alternate world's Justice League, and more importantly their not evil Superman, to beat this Superman. In this comic everybody is pretty much already at the point that they start Injustice 2 at, so there's not much to do.
Never said they were free of filler (I think everything past the first arc was unnecessary), but every story seemed designed to say “and this is why these people couldn’t stop it.” There’s no similar necessity in bridging the gap between the two games.

Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.

Maybe the heat vision, too.
