NoScans - Justice League Action (and something for Ladybug fans)

Justice League Action has been producing some terrific episodes, taking a sort of "Brave and the Bold" take on the wider DC Universe.

They've also released a series of shorts, and I think I rather like this one which showcases some problems encountered when Firestorm faces Metallo and tries to transmute his Kryptonite heart.

Okay, none of the colours other than Green (lethal) and Black (which Smallville had as splitting Kryptonians into good and evil selves and the comics took up) line up with extant versions of Kryptonite, but who cares? :)

Well, there IS a comic out about it now, so this is tangentially on topic.

For some reason, the Disney Channel UK has released the long awaited first episode of "Miraculous Ladybug" second season in advance of the formal launch on 6th November.

It's region locked so if you're not in the UK, you'll need a VPN of some sort to view it. Sorry about that.

New opening titles, foreshadowing the new characters being introduced, a lot of plot exposition, and some major revelations about series big bad Hawk Moth and their identity, so please keeps spoilers out of comments for a wghile. Oh, and someone gets akumatised that you probably thought you'd never see akumatised! :)

I'm still a little irked they didn't bother to do anything with Superman Sister's voice. The same thing happened in the obligatory body swap episode.

Yeah, gold Kryptonite in the comics is, of course, very bad news. Like "strip away his powers for good."

But this was still amusing.

I have to admit, the visual of Firestorm being followed around by a floating old guy head is pretty amusing. I wish Legends of Tomorrow did the same thing with a CGI Victor Gerber.

I really enjoy Justice League Action, but god I hate basically everything they do with Wonder Woman

Their Mr Terrific epiosde was a little odd because I found it very hard to believe that Martin Stein and Michael Holt were ever contemporaries, what with Stein being at least a couple of decades older than Holt.

Yeah, i know. I never really liked the character to begin with, but somehow the show seems to make her completely obnoxious.
