This is interesting, but I really prefer the explanation for the Sentry/Void relationship in Age of the Sentry - to wit, that the Void had just been one of the Sentry's main rogues until he actually managed to absorb the Sentry's powers completely in one battle, killing the Sentry. However, he was overwhelmed by the Sentry's heroic persona after that, only managing to manifest and act as himself occasionally. It just seems like a much more resonant idea than the Void simply being an accidental byproduct of the Sentry's powers.
