Heck, her no-pain aspect makes it really fitting. A honey badger isn't in truth as tough or strong as a wolverine, but they really do ignore danger and stuff like beestings, snakebites, etc...

But then again, I just looked it up and the Incredible Herc run is almost a decade old at this point, so maybe it's just the comic book aging thing.
