She'd just discovered Colonel Mustard and Senator White's bodies in Mr. Boddy's conservatory.

She went towards the scream she'd heard.

She and the late Boddy's butler Upton came upon Miss Scarlett.

Amarillo took Mr. Green on the floor above into custody.

He protested that he hadn't killed her.

Meanwhile, Professor Plum and Dr. Orchid confronted the actually alive Boddy.

As Boddy accepted their escape, Upton addressed the fourth wall again, introducing a flashback to White and Green confronting Scarlett after some very interesting flowers'd been discovered in her hair and room.

Green'd left to go looking for more of them, leaving White and Scarlett alone.

" Can I offer you some advice? Woman to woman? "

" This oughta be good. "

" I find Mr. Green every ounce as disgusting as you do. But you wouldn't attract attention from men of his ilk if you weren't so.. frivolous. "

" Is that right? "

" I know you're being sardonic, but yes. It is. "

(You really get where they're both coming from in that last panel.)

The senator left, leaving Miss Scarlett alone.

She went looking for a rope; she found one.

She tied it into a noose, intending on faking her near-murder by hanging to earn some public notoriety.

Then she caught a glimpse of her reflection.

She went to hang herself from the second floor bannister- and thought better of it.

Then Mr. Green confronted her.

He hadn't found any of those flowers, so he'd come back to ask her where she'd got hers.

She backed away from him, up against the bannister-

which cracked behind her.

She fell down and away, landing on the floor below.

" So, yes. In this instance- the one and only instance- Mr. Green was telling the truth. He did not murder Miss Scarlett. "

Upton counted off the others who'd followed Mr. Boddy in death.

" Just as he did not murder Mrs. Peacock. Or Colonel Mustard. Or Senator White. "

The detective, who'd been angered by her partner's death, was ignoring Mr. Green's protestations of innocence and attempts to bribe her into both letting him go and doing for him what the late senator'd already done.

Meanwhile, Professor Plum and Dr. Orchid'd retreated to where they'd been hiding from Amarillo's pursuit of them.

A door opened behind Plum.

Boddy turned to Orchid.

" This was not supposed to happen. Not yet. "

" I.. I know. "

Outside Boddy's mansion, the rain stopped.
