...'going vegan' is a lot to unpack, considering Ivy's whole shtick is being against cruelty to plants, not animals.

I forget the term but there's an even further subsect of veganism, that will not eat anything that causes the plant to die.. remember a number of plants require their seeds to be consumed by animals to spread (though humans are not good for this purpose, generally).

You are not the only one. There was one story (I can't for the life of me remember the issue, but I think ot was Lil Gotham) where Ivy and Harley are having dinner, and Ivy refuses to touch the salad while gobbling steaks down.

Also in Lil' Gotham, Ivy is shown to LOVE spaghetti and meatballs for some reason. I also remember her in the NML Harley Quinn special eating an apple, so I'm assuming that she eats, as someone else stated, things that don't harm the plant itself.

There's also photosynthesis.
