So in this updated version of the DC universe, Roy wasn't a protégé of Oliver Queen? (Questions one asks when they've stopped buying comics since the "Nu52" thing came about)
Not that he was all that great of one in the before time, in the long, long ago.
Pet peeve- how much Donna keeps assuming Diana isn't being truthful, how much Diana doesn't just pull out her lasso and use it on herself as an answer.
Like, this is not *bad*, the two characters have had worse, but little stuff like that makes me view it as 'eh, ok.'
I mean, Donna keeps on reading into things, and Diana's reassuring her it's not the case, and it's happening across multiple issues and Diana could, rather than simply verbally reassure her, *demonstrate* to Donna it's true which'd be better for putting her fears to rest.
Holding the lasso and saying, "I do trust you," is something I think would help reassure Donna. It'd establish a baseline, and putting the lasso aside after that wouldn't change that Donna now knows something more firmly about what she thinks.
The character beats are fine, but I'm still intensely disliking the idea of the JLA just shutting down another team as if they were some sort of authority to do so, and had never had a member go rogue, or were even particularly qualified to judge.
It's not even Donna who went rogue, it was an alternate future version of her, and the DCU is littered with those popping uo,
