I really like how this series shows how dangerous an intelligent, motivated maniac with a shotgun could really be, but without actually making him out to be some cool badass like Punisher.

And the Punisher comic series is littered with pretentious drivel and edgy gore from people who *think* they're as good as Brubaker.
