I'm guessing Scheele is gay and they met through whatever community existed between the LGBT in Germany and became friends. Which makes her fate a bit more unfortunate.
Liked the subtle build-up with Scheele's decision to try to end the war. Lots of silent panels of her calculating.
Liked the exposition at the beginning, Germany's infrastructure was wrecked in the beginning of the series. I like how even though they took Britain and France, not having enough people plus winning by using the equivalent of atomic bombs to blow up everything ruins most of the benefits.
Still surprised they think it's possible to win. Even if they discover a powerful new Uber-type they lost their best forces in America and are going to be hard-pressed to find more men with Uber potential... Which makes me think there are going to be alot more Markus's... that's a terrifying thought...
I think that's the reason a lot of the battles in Ubers have been victories for the Nazi's. There's a storytelling problem in that once they suffer a major loss, their position is pretty much screwed.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
