Has anyone already coined the phrase "revenge candy"? I'm kinda thinking it applies here; the definition would cover a narrative that offers a quick revenge fantasy without real nuance, consequence or critical thought applied. Like junk food, it provides an emotional buzz without being really nourishing.

And like any junk food salesman, Mark Millar wants you to know this is the best kind of food *ever*. With his promotional interviews for this book he seems to be almost on the verge of saying "I'm cutting my own throat, here..."
