The cover is okay, I guess.

Just make the Daniel Way go away.

If Weapon X needs someone to be a Magnificent Bastard Assassin why give the job to the murderman with the metal skeleton and healing factor?

Wasn't there a storyline where this is basically what Sabretooth did to Wolverine whenever he settled down? Killing everything around him, that is.

And honestly, this reads like Ennis-Lite.

Their choice of artist helps with that. I see this guys art, I instantly think 'whelp, time for a collection of horrible people with no redeeming features doing horrible things to other horrible people we're given no reason to care about.'

It's an odd sort of typecasting, but there you go.

I don't know- did Nuke, of all characters really need a 'manipulated since childhood to become what he did,' backstory?

You know, I just asked the same question in the last post on this literally just now.

Does Nuke need all of this? Does he need ANY of this?

I mean I kind of like Nuke as a character, I like what they did with him in the Jessica Jones Netflix series I guess, I mean he wasn't terribly memorable, but he was fighting for screen time with David Tennant and that is a fight you will LOSE. But is this really needed?

And again, does this have ANY sort of payoff. Do Nuke and Wolverine ever fight or have a confrontation, or Nuke shoots someone Logan loves and his past comes back to haunt him? Anything?

This stuff makes me think that the reason Logan didn't get his memories back with Xaviers help was that Xavier absolutely did not want him to. Xavier could probably see them, locked away from Logans consciousness. I figure he made sure they'd stay there. May even have told himself that he'd unlock a bit at a time once Logan had had enough time to build a less sociopathic personality, that wouldn't be overwhelmed by a century's worth of bastardy.

That's what he meant by "Wolverines potential for good".

It probably does noting good for your empathy being ageless and basically invulnerable, never even having a hangover. And Logan seems to have spent a lot of that time as a criminal or soldier.
