The Peter part is baffling, though. "He double-booked with us, what a louse! Oh no, he crawled home covered with bruises and he just passed out, maybe he needs medical attention! Never mind, Peter's struggled back to consciousness and his dazed ramblings suggest that he might think we're pretty, so everything's fine now! We're sociopaths! The end!"
