Eye think this is a step in the right direction but eye am not sure eye have faith in the creative team to execute the landing given how disappointing this series has been so far.

I just think the comic was a massive bait and switch. Tim and Steph we're back with the Bat family for the first time in ages but Tim is almost immediately "killed" which causes Steph to leave.

And the stuff with Bruce's uncle just feels like it wasn't worth the damage it does to Batwoman. I hated that reveal when they made Max Lord evil and I hate it here.

I liked that stuff with Tim and Steph, kinda because it was a bait-and-switch. It threw things for a bad loop and had repercussions that were felt all the way to the end of the run. That's awesome.

But then, I have really no knowledge of either before the New 52. What little I've seen of Pre-Flashpoint Tim I've really, really not liked at all.

Jacob neither was nor is evil, nor is he a villain, and this new info about him doesn't harm Batwoman even a little bit. How could it? I've heard that notion at least once a month since it happened, and it's never made a lick of sense.

Besides my amusement at the fact Brother Eye neglects to mention that the Previous Timeline Batgirls had been in the hero business for a lot longer than the current versions and thus had more time to become awesome, there is one thing here that truly and utterly pleases me. When he says Cass was family, it was with pictures of Babs.
