Star Wars doesn’t really have the terminology that we do either. One of the things we wrote inside the first arc was that homophobia as we know it doesn’t really exist in the Star Wars universe. No one raises their eyebrow, no one seems surprised when it happens. It’s kind of just something that’s there, so the way that they process sexuality has got to be different anyway, and how they choose to identify, as well. -- Kieron Gillen

I think the way it's handled in the Ahsoka novel backs that up that claim too. Everyone takes Kaeden's interest in girls matter of factly. Ahsoka kinda gets nervous about Kaeden's potential interest very quickly and with very few queues (although it conspicuously never tells us if she's attracted to Kaeden when it tells us everything else she's thinking).

I'm not sure what irks me more, the fact that the murder droids apparently got away to continue mass murdering, or the fact that Aphra scammed the Rebels and will likely get away with it.

Yeah, I'm past the point where this whole gang of assholes were considered adorable cheeky scamps. There is definitely a use-by date on that kind of antics, and we're long over it. I want comeuppances to come up, and pretty soon too.

Likewise, Aphra's "I'm a terrible person, I hate that I'm a terrible person, but I'm going to keep on being a terrible person because being a terrible person just comes naturally to me" attitude is getting old.
