You know Jimmy, Deniro would have fucked that Gorilla no questions asked. They would have been like "Bobby we're thinking for this scene you marry the gorilla" he would have a Barry white record in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other like "Alright we're doing this."

I'm not sure why thousands of clubs in the US alone makes more sense to me, but it certainly does compared to world wide fan clubs.

First I was focused on how sleazy the director was. Then the rest of the comic happened.

Also, "some of my best friends are gorillas" is weirdly plausible in the DCU.

Depending of when this was published, it was already true for the Flash comics

And then, within the next few years, some writer will bring this up again, either in a comedy story were it is revealed the matrimony is still legit and Jimmy is still technically married to a gorilla. Or they retcon Bruna into REALLY being a deity and they are all serious and stuff.

And in a Snyderverse film, we just see a taxidermied gorilla with someone bragging about where they shot it.

and in the CW shows, they try to make a cute reference by making her into a human girl, because they realize that it would have unfortunate implications to have the black dude "marry" a gorilla....... but they forget to drop the whole "natives" stereotype.

I love how on the cover Superman actually apologizes to Jimmy for marrying them.

I love Clark giving the director a dirty look when he said the movie he and Jimmy appeared in bombed. :)
