They probably will but I'd like it if he lasted a few more years. Only thing I'd change is give him the bowlcut and glasses (and yeah I get that there's little reason for this body to need them but they could find a way).

I think they'll just give him a body of a week, that seems to be his motifs now. First his own body at its prime with the green jumpsuit and shade... then he died replace with Lady oct, then came back, then his body become a cyborg/mummy shell, then he was Peter, than he was a robot, then he got cloned, and now this...

He has more body switch outs than Optimus Primal!

ok... so Flash is dead... Peter has the Symbiote again? Is otto "dead"? is he still sweet on May? what about Maria? don't lie to her again... what about the rest? Normie, MJ, Felicia, Norman, etc.

1. Eddie lent the symbiote so Peter could stop Norman but it returns back to him.
2. Otto is still in his 'Superior' body. I think he's in love with Anna Maria although he still cares about May.
3. Norman's brain is fried and he thinks he's Cletus Kasady.
4. They managed to get the symbiote off of Normie although we see a few remnants remain.
5. Everyone else is fine.

Eddie Brock loaned the Venom shmbuote to Peter to help him fight the Red Goblin.

Otto is not dead, but has taken up a new alias after being given a clean slate by Peter (and was rather sweet on May, yes).

Norman’s portion of Carnage was destroyed by Spider-Man, leaving Norman more mad and deluded than before (thinking that he himself is Cletus Kasady and Peter is Norman Osborn). If you’re curious about whatever happened to Cletus and why he wasn’t involved in this, see Cullen Bunn’s Poison saga (specificallyVenomized). Normie’s symbiote was mostly removed by Harry, but a small bit remains.

MJ, Felicia, J.J.J., etc. are all fine.

Yeah, really shoulda seen this coming. Slott wouldn't leave without one last attempt to make sure his run is super important and remembered.

That’s not like that isn’t important or memorable already. Among other things, he brought back Ben Reilly, introduced the Web Warriors/multiversal teamups, crossovers and friendships on a massive scale as a regular and feasible concept without being too tiring or boring (I think Shattered Dimensions technically did that first, but none of thr Spider-Mans in that game properly met or were really aware of each other throughout the story), made the Superior arc and had a hand in creating both Agent Venom and Anti-Venom.

So it's not enough to take the symbiote away from Flash so Eddie can be Venom again... they had to kill Flash off just to make sure there was no hope of him ever getting the symbiote back?

I am not pleased. Not after the amazing character arc he's had over the years, especially as a rather visibly disabled character who hasn't gotten some sort of miraculous cure (outside of when he was actually -wearing- the suit).

(I say this after noting that John Walker's missing limbs were regrown, Niko Minoru's magical arm seems to either be cured or disguised as normal, Rhodey was crippled, killed, cloned, killed again, and reborn...)

Nope. Not happy. Even if they do find a way to bring him back (Look! Traces of the anti-Venom were in him all along, leading to a slow regeneration process while he was in a death-like state!) (Look! He's in the Spider-Man family which means clones are inevitable!) (Look! He didn't die, he just went to Europe for a few years, courtesy of the Osborn Vacation Club...) (You get my drift)

Even if they do bring him back, chances are good he'll never be a super-hero again, and chances are good the next writer would find a way to reboot him back to being whole, a bully, a loser, or something because they remember that Flash from their childhood.

This! I'm so mad. Flash was the best Venom IMO and smh.

Just because Peter blames himself for everything, doesn't really mean it ACTUALLY is his fault...

I don't think they're saying that (it's more Eddie's fault), they're saying he could cause it to turn bad again if he acts on his impulses.

Also... I have notice this since after OMD... EVERYONE in Peter's life seem to actually grow and mature as people and characters... except for Peter himself...

Is he like the only "DC Character" of his own series right now?

I still don't get complaints like this. There's a DRASTIC difference between Peter at the start of BND and how he is now. Nearly every aspect that people despised from BND (Peter being selfish, Peter mooching off his aunt, Peter having drunken sex, etc, etc, etc) he did away with once he took over the title permanently.
