Better than me. I've tried to post 3 times over various weeks and always cannot get the silly cut to work (at least it displays full page to me) and I immediately delete it.

That said, this was a great sequence.

Cuts don't show up in the preview mode though. That always used to freak me out.

Possibly. The safest way is to copy the code for a cut directly from the user info page, keep the edit entry window open at all times and just hope for the best.

It might help to test-post the entry at your own journal to see if it works correctly. Then just copy and paste the entry (from the edit menu) to S_D.

This seems... rather out of character for Ultimate Hulk, actually. While he's not brilliant, he still always struck me as being smarter than this.

Or maybe I'm just seeing this because I'm not getting the whole context (and won't be, since I've pretty much given up on Ultimates).

I would say that Ultimate Hulk is simple minded but not stupid
On another page in this issue, he puts out a building fire with his hand-clap trick without being told too

I think that Hulk is mostly confused in this scene.
He wasn't actually attacked like he is most of the time, but hit by something he can't beat with his fists.
He sees Spider-man as something familiar, to which he can hold on to make some sense of the events around him.

Then again, I could be looking too deep into it...

You know, it's actually nice to see a superhero being genuinely scared for a change. It's like "ok, guys, I get you all have superpowers but even you have to be scared of that guy who can hurt/kill you".

Ultimate Hulk is probably the weirded Ultimate character. It's like they try to make him a good guy but I keep remembering his first attack on New York in the Ultimates and realize, wait, didn't this guy EAT a bunch of innocents and try to rape his ex?

He is goofy like that. But this is almost a different Hulk as Banner seems to becoming more and more in control, to the point I'd think he has surpassed 616.
