That Joker reveal page is legitimately terrifying. Great work from the artist and the pacing of the story.

I'm also digging how Snyder is managing to make the Legion of Doom feel like an honest thread to the Justice League.

Agreed. It's great art and at least terrifying until one considers how thoroughly Hawkgirl could mop the floor with Joker...

From the looks of this her wings either are metal (presumably Nth metal) or sheathed in it, and her helmet is metal as well. Even if the Joker could get a chainsaw started fast enough to get the drop on her, it doesn't look like he has the angle to do any actual harm with a first strike.

Hawkgirl doesn't have the same sort of reluctance to kill that Batman and most of his proteges have, does she?

Just read the full issue tonight. Wow, Scott Snyder must have REALLY liked Annihilation. I was expecting the screaming mutant bear to show up any page.
