I just don't see the appeal, no judgement if anyone else likes it.

I've speculated MARSHALL LAW could be adapted for a movie or a TV series if it was toned down slightly. Lots of superhero satire, less bloody carnage. I guess when they make Robocop for TV or something.

The hook is a bunch of soldiers got superpowers to fight a massive war in South America. Now the war is over and the soldiers now live normal lives... except for a bunch in San Futuro. Some have started gangs, some have become "real" superheroes, and some have joined the San Futuro Police Department... including Joe Gilmore, better known as Marshall Law.

They did a Robocop TV show, as it happens. Not sure how good it was, but iirc at the time it was considered OK, though the budget simply wasn't there back then.

Marshall Law simply lays it on so thick and so...obviously, maybe? I remember when I got the first issues and it's so over the top and simultaneously unsubtle that it wasn't actually entertaining in any meaningful way to me. It's like it wants to be PG-13 Garth Ennis, I guess. And we've already gotten that from Ennis (it was called Hitman and it was good).
