My only previous exposure to Bissette as writer (as opposed to penciller) has been the two issues he guest-wrote for Swamp Thing, one during Moore's run and the other during Veitch's. I didn't like either of them. This, though, isn't bad. I assume he did this some time after his DC work, when he'd presumably gained more writing experience?
