Even if he isn't a Death lover anymore, he's still Thanos.
For him, dying is about as much an inconvenience as realising the milk's gone off.

I can see, given their relationship, she expected him to be upset because she was supposed to be a weapon for him to use, only to become the weapon that struck him down. But from Thanos perspective, she served as his weapon marvelously by killing him.
