Reading the whole thing, I think it would have been improved if it went all the way with the whole universe as opposed to just the magic end of the spectrum.
The "magical scrapbook" framework is neat, and although I realize this is a book as opposed to an actual deck, I wish that for the card images themselves they'd done something more original than copypaste Marvel characters into the Rider/Waite/Smith Tarot.

For interested parties: back in the 80's, BNF and real-life occultist cat yronwode (the lower-case spelling is her own preference) put together a whole elaborate grimoire indexing the spells, dimensions, artifacts, and entities of Vishantist magic through the Silver and Bronze Ages:

Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
