I do love Jonah, and I'll be sorry whenever it's time to end this phase of his life with a memory-erasing ray or something. It was 50-50 on whether he'd fall for Fisk's flattery-- he's stood up to crooks admirably before-- but I have a hunch he'll see through it before this is done.

It is weird that Jonah would do this after the many, MANY times Spider-Man saved his life. And his dislike of Spider-Man was a "masked vigilantes are bad" thing mixed with a "I couldn't have been wrong about my snap decision about him all those years ago."

Okay, I admit it, I loved everything about these pages:

Kingpin manipulating Jameson, playing upon his ego and need for respect. Fisk should be shown as a cerebral villain as well as physical and he comes across very well here.

Don't know who the hippo person is but I strangely want to see them come back.

"Galactus hungers...for friendship!" Somebody at Marvel had better be getting that out in stores now. But who can voice the devourer of worlds?

The Enforcers! The Enforcers! The Enforcers! I love the hell out of these guys, especially how each one represents a different aspect of Spider Man's offensive abilities (fighting prowess, webs, strength).
