The Spanish narration is awkward knowing Gabby doesn’t speak Spanish.

I might be missing it but is there much of that? I'm seeing odd words but not really blocks of it. My computer might just be lagging on loading a page though.
And eh, writers use languages they don't speak all the time. Sure it's weirder because this is so much about racial identity but people don't always have the opportunity to experience their own heritage. I'm Scottish, but I was encouraged not to use Scots phrases because they're associated with poverty/class nonsense/you get a better job if you sound English. Same (but worse) goes for Spanish in America- I mean from what I've heard.
I mean she probably should have hired a Spanish speaker to get it accurate, but so should everyone who uses it.

It happens enough that people who speak Spanish have called her out on it, one member here said it reads like she uses Google translate.

Oh yeah I know the Spanish is bad, but it's probably not worse than most comic writers who use another language but don't speak it.
Again they should all probably hire people who did.
