I dunno, even a cynic like me feels like FF seems to be the exception that proves the rule when it comes to nothing ever sticking in Marvel.

But maybe I'm wrong? I'm not so well-versed in the FF that I wouldn't welcome correction.

Did Reed Richards give bring his best friend's aunt back to life when he reconstructed the universe?

Also bringing her back to life when Mark Millar had her horribly killed off in a single panel during his run just to make that "Marquis of Doom" more of a threat.

Clearly, when Reed was recreating the universe, he retconned really bad storylines.

Heck, Franklin might have undone Petunia's death as soon as he found out about it.

Then again, Millar's run had so many WTF moments (Doom crediting his villainous career to a "master" and telling others about it, Ben making crude passes at a schoolteacher in front of her class, their jiffy-pop engagement/wedding, Future Sue risking her brother's life using him as a time machine battery, Reed's relatives trying to make human sacrifices of the kids, etc.) that I'm quite comfortable with it being excised from continuity by unanimous decision, no in-setting retcon explanation required.

the bachelor party went about how I expected it.
using the same logic as to why Iceman has had such bad luck in the love department, obviously Johnny is gay and hasn't come out yet.
Reed dropping everything to build a time stop device so the wedding can go off with out a hitch is such a Reed thing to do. Good on him.

Given the number of girlfriends he's succedfully had long term relationships with and his happy (for a while) marriage to Lyja, I've always read Johnny as bi as hell and just not as chatty about his male partners as his female.
