I could buy this as being some sort of morality tale if there was any point when she was considering giving up her child for her own reasons but it's pretty clear she never wanted to give him up.

Apparently the framing device for this comic, is that a pregnant woman is being pressured by her boyfriend to try and sell her unborn child to a wealthy family.
So Sexy-Story Teller comes along and tells them a story about a mother who tries to save her son, but ends up failing and having her son disfigured for her actions.

What conclusion exactly are they meant to draw from this?

Looking at the cover I imagine the dwarf going "No stop posing like that, do you have any idea how practical that'll be for weaving?"

Why'd Rumpelstiltskin spend another 13 years as a troll, is he could have ended the curse right then?

So what happens after the last scan? I mean I assume there's a page of the queen being sad, cradling her son, etc,etc, but do they say what happens to Rumpelstiltskin, because I'm left to assume they captured him as he's a regular human now.
