It'll be fine. Bo and Rim aren't at full power and they're missing Gib, they would probably need to start a new Pride to start harvesting souls for them, and it might take another 25 years like their parents

Plenty of time for whoever is still around on Earth in the year 3018 to stop them.

Well considering that Leapfrog has been outfitted as a time machine, which they've used to travel to the past, and they encounter and fought past versions of Gerts parents, I think she can take their word for it just this once. ;)
