For fuck's sake, how many goddamned children has Killgrave HAD? We're up to 7 now, including the group of kids, and Kara.

And how old is this guy, anyway? With the greying temples, one would assume he was middle-aged, but he sounds a bit younger. And Kara manifested in her teens as a mutant, so... what's the timeline on Killgrave's career at this point? 20+ years?

I dunno, I'm just sick of Killgrave and his ever-expanding army of like-powered offspring.

Killgrave never seemed like the type that would be considerate enough to use protection.

Funny thing is, in Kara's origin, we learned that supposedly, Killgrave loved her mom enough to release her from the mind control.

Something tells me that this part of her origin would no longer fly in today's culture, especially as we've seen more of Killgrave.

It'd probably be fine, so long as you present the fact that it doesn't undo anything else.

Yeah, Kilgrave freeing one woman doesn't make him stop being a creepy rapist. Kara is still the child of rape, and very aware of it.

"You let one of them go, but that's nothing new. Every now and then, a little victim's spared because she smiled, because he's got freckles, because they begged. And that's how you live with yourself. That's how you slaughter millions. Because once in a while, on a whim, if the wind's in the right direction, you happen to be kind.""

I dunno, this is a decent compromise to me. Fair enough for immediately starting on a Purple Man story, though.

I do wonder who's corpse Carol threw into the sun if Killgrave is here.

And the villain for this arc is Benjamin, Killgrave is just a vegetable here.

Did people really get angry at Brian Michael Bendis for bringing Purple Man back in Jessica Jones' book? Why?

Which doesn't make sense, Bendis always made it clear Killgrave was a bad person.

I'm gonna suggest something crazy here.

Maybe, just maybe, a writer should use different villains with a hero/heroine, instead of constantly mining their biggest villain for stories.

Crazy idea, I know, but I think it could work.

I dunno. It sounds... too crazy.

Like, what if the writer couldn't think of a different villain, and they had to... like... make up an entirely new character, who was utterly unrelated to the previous villains in any way?
That would never work.

That's exactly what they did in the first arc, so i'm not sure why you're being sarcastic.

Except they did, the first arc of Thompson's Jessica Jones had the villain be a brand new character.

And honestly, it's also the case in this arc since Killgrave is just a vegetable and the villain this son of his.

So i think you're jumping the gun here, especially since the first arc already used a different villain. So i have no idea what you are complaining about if you have been keeping up with the book.

Yeah I think the numbering is confusing people. The previous Jessica Jones story (Blind Spot) was the same creative team, so this isn't really a new series.

Why would you show your child a book with those kind of pictures? Seriously, it's like something from "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark"!

Seriously don't get in a "My dad can beat up your dad" argument with Danielle. Your dad will thank you.

Hell, don't challenge her with any family member, she's got super powered uncles to spare.

And since in at least one parallel future she becomes the next Captain America (With the catchphrase "I AM the Shield"), Maybe bullies should just steer clear of her in general.

Who is this Frost he's referring to? EMMA Frost? If so, I'd hate to be in his shoes when she comes looking for payback! Assuming there's anything left after Luke and Jess are finished....
