Ayup. That's why I generally don't like it when superhero stories include children. More often than not they end up being props for the story to beat its "This guy is GOOD/this guy is BAD" dichotomy into you, in the most mechanical way possible.

That was at least a case of Curt’s Lizard persona completely overriding him. But Curt is back in control at the moment and trying to atone.

That was such an ugly story that it I’m baffled Marvel allowed it. Slott deserves credit for undoing as much damage to the character as he could have when he took over.

I think Arcade is now sort of Marvel's equivalent of Dr Light. Storylines have rendered them SO toxic that using them after their watershed moment just seems... inappropriate.

You know what would be a twist? if by "the spider" the prophecy just meant one of those super deadly spiders that live in australia would bite him and die from that.

It does raise the question of what "counts" if Peter does suddenly develop a bloodlust. Can he just shoot Kraven or does he have to beat him to death? Can he suffocate Kraven with webbing? What if they were organic webs?

Somewhere out there a former Marvel EIC is screaming "it's magic, we don't have to explain it"

I give him credit for those armor suits. He didn't have to paint goatees on the faceplates, but he clearly understood the importance of branding.

Not a very interesting one though, about as flat as this story so far. It's a badbutt.

I'd rank it a 2 on the Grayson booty chart. A zero is vertically level, -1 is the criminally concave booty. A 10 is baseball player Anthony Recker.

He wants game that can put up a fight and be hunted. Not a one-sided destruction where all his plans go to hell in ten seconds which would have happened if Doreen was there.
