Their shopping trip is cut short by a attack by a demonic entity. The police are useless to stop it, but Oogami manages to save the commander, and takes his sword.




Oogami confronts Yoneda about the demon he saw and demands that he be sent back to the army.





And with Oogami still not having put all the clues together the first volume of Sakura Wars comes to a close.

Date: 2019-04-08 10:35 pm (UTC)I understand the "getting to know his teammates as persons first" bit, but I still think it'd be much more efficient to cut the shit and just tell Oogami straight off this is an undercover combat project.
Unrelated: I like the last panel with the girls in "run over by a steamroller" form. Quite different from the usual chibi thing.
