You didn't include it here, but I'm cautiously excited about the X-Statix one-shot special. X-Statix is one of the first series I really got way into when I started reading comics and I'm a huge fan of it, so this sounds very exciting.

I do have a few reservations about it, in that I'm not generally interested in seeing creative teams come back years later to revisit their work, which is the same issue I have with Marvels. On top of that, one of the great things about X-Statix is its prescience about celebrity, and in a world where the concept of celebrity has changed radically since the early 2000s I wonder if Milligan is still going to be on point with his commentary.

Anyway, the new U-Go-Girl is definitely Edie's kid-who-was-raised-thinking-they-were-sisters, right? Like, 80% chance.

Making the Invisible Woman a secret agent is something I've thought about in the past and in terms of giving her a spotlight as a solo hero it's a natural choice, but I'm curious how Waid will handle it. Like, it would feel antithetical to the FF spirit if the Invisible Woman were like, running around black-bagging people and committing war crimes, so how far can they go with the concept?

Aside from that, psyched for Immortal Hulk as always, Secret Warps is weird but I'm sure Ewing can make it sing, and Life Story can only get even more interesting to me as it goes along.

plus you know she wasn't portrayed as all the forceful in the early stories, that's why she was the Invisible Girl for decades.

Though she did help browbeat Ben into going on the mission. Maybe she was as hotheaded as Johnny when she was younger and that burned her to many times and she went to far the other way

One of the more interesting idea's I've seen to invigorate Sue is to give her a medical degree. It'd allow for interesting uses for her powers (turn the skin and muscles of a patient invisible to get a look at the bone, for instance), give a bit more of a connection to her deceased father, and emphasize her as being smart while still letting Reed be the super-genius in the family.

$5 for 16 pages of story doesn't feel like a good deal to me.

I wonder if the Marvels Epilogue will be in-continuity with the sequel miniseries they did without Alex Ross.

Whelp, I guess it's not this year that I'll get stuff from my favorite writer, Ewing.
Jane belongs to the unholy trinity of Aaron's pet characters, and I hate how he kills or make other characters look bad in order to push his faves. If he is co-wrting the series, not even Ewing can save that.

Civill War in Spider-Man Life Story could be interesting, since most of the old school heroes will be between 60 and 80 years old. I wonder if it will be more like Waid's Kingdom Come.

Marvel Swimsuit is back! I'm both excited and worried, hoping it could recapture the sexyness and the sillyness of the 90s version.
I'm cautious about Aero and Sword Master, but it should be worth a try.

That's what rubs me the wrong way about the Valkyrie thing. Cullen Bunn revamped the character a few years ago only for no one to every explore what he'd done, and if they were going to replace her anyway, the Tessa Thompson-inspired Exiles version or Dani Moonstar would have felt much less vanilla.
