Victor is having dreams of killing Gert like he killed the Vision's son in Tom King's The Vision series and apparently killed himself as a result.

Tom King had him accidentally kill Vision’s kid way back and now this title has to deal with the aftermath as a result.

I'm not sure Vin Vision is interesting enough to ever come back. Even accidentally.

Suicide? From that last panel, looked more like Victor is growing a new body from his severed head.

You know, looking back at it, i think you're right. I just had an immediate "electronics in the bathtub" association with that imagery, and I didn't notice that his head entered the tub without all of that stuff coming out of it.

I think he wanted to commit suicide, and the body regrowing is some freaky Ultron Tech in his head activating to save him.

Well 2 things:

1) Maybe its just me but I didn't read that as Suicide, it looks like he's just having a head bath? Obviously I am misreading the signals here I guess,.

2)If it is meant to be a suicide or attempted suicide, shouldn't this have a trigger warning for self harm/suicide in the tags?

In pages not included here, Victor is shown setting up the bath with containers of salt, agar, and an unknown liquid sitting besides it. So while it's not explicitly stated on page, it's suggested that he is knowingly composing a mix of chemicals required to regrow his body.

His upset state is more than likely due to the fact that not wanting his body back has been a long running personal plot for Victor, for fear that he might hurt someone. Which, in this issue, has been conflicting with his fear that without a body he can't protect Gert (likely caused by their fight with Bo and Rim, where Victor couldn't do anything and Gert was injured).

De-lurking to add context so that hopefully people who might be triggered by depictions of suicide/self-harm know that this isn't a depiction of it.
