Since Aaron Davis is back in this book now, I just wanna say that I really hope they ditch the Iron Spider gimmick and just make him the Prowler again. After Into the Spider-Verse he's easily eclipsed Hobie Brown's use of the name. Also, the Prowler has a way better costume.
Like Uncle Ben, Uncle Aaron works better as a dead character anyway ... though I'd prefer if they embrace the Spider-Verse route and have him sacrifice himself for Miles. I don't think his death was handled well in the comics.
I mean, the 616 also already had two separate Spider-Men at the time, it's not like putting on a literal Spider-Man costume was going to avoid conflict. Him dressing as the Iron Spider ought to be as much an issue as him dressing as the Prowler.
Probably, but by using an existing character. Mark Millar introduced the Vulture's daughter-in-law and (I think) grandchild in a couple of issues of Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. Cool that it's worked out that way.
I had hard time believing that the Vulture, of all people, had feathered one kid in the Identity Disc story, but now it seems his children and grandchildren are popping up all over the place. Boggles the mind, it does.
