At this point DC continuity is so screwed up following reboot after reboot that they should just blow up the universe and start over. Maybe they can get George Perez to draw that.
The issue is the reboots themselves tend to 'blow up the universe and start over,'... only they then, like, half start over. Which is a worst of both worlds situation.
My view is it's better to just roll with it and slowly paper over continuity problems. Pretend things are smoother than they are and eventually they will be.
I mean, Marvel's had ONE reboot in what, 58 years of publication? I hesitate to guess how many DC's had since 1985, but since I only bought one title this week and it was a Sandman Universe one, I'm not enirely confident that there hasn't been another one since June.
