Since when does Eddie have a son? I know Venom has produced several offspring, but I never heard of any human kid.

It got introduced in this series that the kids mother was actually Eddie's ex-wife Ann (She-Venom). When she had her first transformation both she and Eddie bonded to the symbiote simultaneously, ending up getting her pregnant.

Knowing that Eddie was a nutcase at the time and not being super mentally well herself, she left the baby with Eddie's father until she could get better, but ended up committing suicide. Initially the kid is introduced as Eddie's brother he hasn't met, but he works out the truth.

He was only introduced fairly recently. Eddie’s ex-wife had him and dropped him off at Eddie’s dad. He thinks Eddie is his brother though so things are complicated.

It's bizarre to look at Eddie Brock now and compare him to the Eddie Brock we first met so many years ago.

Yeah. I get big "God of War 2018" vibes from this. particularly with Eddie having to keep his anger issues in check for the sake of his son.
