I love what the vagaries of Venom's status quo've made of Andi - she'll be sitting around in limbo for years to come, probably, with her Mephisto-originating Hell-Mark keeping her in line to be a potential Satan.

I love how hard the Bendis "symbiotes protectors of the universe" retcon has been re-retconned.

Nah, I'm just amused that they went from "space protectors" to "literally demonic".

The best part about that retcon is its additive nature - good symbiotes still exist, it's just that they're a conscious effort to not be what they originally were.

(Donny Cates's stuff is quality additive retconning - he's organically tied Knowhere, All-Black the Necrosword, and the Kree-Skrull War into the symbiotes.)
