NS: Telltale Games is Back

The company LGC Entertainment has brought the assets of Telltale Games. They have rebranded their company as Telltale Games, and are apparently working on publish further seasons of Telltale's Batman and The Wolf Among Us games.
Currently no world on continuation of Telltale's other series (expect for the planned Stranger Things game, which will not continue as the deal with Netflix has expired).

not to sound too skeptic and cynical. But will wait for them to have the full-time position.

In fact, on Twitter some of those employees are calling that freelance deal a farce. They also say it's bad reporting to call this "Telltale is back", since it's just a nee company using the Telltale name.

The only thing I want from them is to pay back their old employees what they owe them and to not treat them like s**t anymore if they're going to rehire them. I don't want this bs freelance role, I want to see real employment here.

After that, a port of The Wolf Among Us to the Switch and that damn second season already.

But I'm not holding my breath for either. It's far more likely they're going to try to wring out whatever value they can get from the name/brand recognition, without being any better and probably exponentially worse.

Since this is an entirely different company, I understand they're not on the hook for that... the lawsuit against the previous execs continue. But it'd be good if they helped out.

While I do agree that the old employees should be paid, I do believe that it's the responsibility of the OLD employers to pay them.

Asking the new employers to pay them back is a bit much.

The Telltale Batman series is among my favorite takes on Batman. I’d love to see more in that universe.

Especially their version of the Joker. I wish John Doe was one of the three Jokers running around in the DCU... maybe he could be a secret fourth Joker if we're really lucky

Yeah the friendship between Bruce and Joker was heartbreaking. I’d love to see that angle explored again elsewhere.

Like everyone else has said, it's basically the brand that's being used and the actual people behind Telltale are still being screwed.

Video-games as an industry kind of sucks, then again with comics that's like throwing stones in a glass house.
