Date: 2019-12-10 06:37 am (UTC)Also, nice of Marvel to include the sirena and to create unique creature designs (Filipino pop culture tends to portray them simply as generic merfolk). I wonder if they will include the other undersea race from Philippine folklore, the siyokoy, who are bipedal humanoids but with fishlike features (think D&D's sahuagin). Though it does seem that Marvel incorporated some of the siyokoy's features into the sirena/I>.
