I’m not sad -- well, not regretful -- to be winding-up. I told the story I set out to tell, and many others beside. I wrote (as far as any of us know) Star Wars’s first canonical gay kiss (and implied its first gay sex). I created an interspecies married couple of monster hunters. I exploded lots and lots of tooka cats. -- Si Spurrier

Hell yes.
But at the same time, we've gotten to see her vulnerable side, her capacity for compassion, for loyalty, for sacrifice, for caring.
I wouldn't trust her with anything valuable, but it's good to know that, when the occasion calls for it, she'll sometimes surprise you with a risky, bizarre gambit to save both herself and those she cares for.
Aphra is basically a Star Wars version of Loki.
