I wrote (as far as any of us know) Star Wars’s first canonical gay kiss (and implied its first gay sex). I created an interspecies married couple of monster hunters. Not gonna lie, I loved this issue simply because Vader got his ass kicked, hard. He's such a grating villain sue

Doc could have sold out the Resistance and I still would have loved it (though maybe a little less)

... okay, Aphra, you have earned a BIT of redemption. If you manage to live through the rest of the trilogy without screwing anyone over, you will probably have cleared the score completely. I don't see that happening, but I'm willing to entertain the notion nonetheless. We shall see.

I love Aphra's complicated morality.
Is she selfish, manipulative, self-serving, greedy, sometimes short-sighted, untrustworthy, deceitful, ambitious, sometimes cruel, and generally awful?
Hell yes.
But at the same time, we've gotten to see her vulnerable side, her capacity for compassion, for loyalty, for sacrifice, for caring.
I wouldn't trust her with anything valuable, but it's good to know that, when the occasion calls for it, she'll sometimes surprise you with a risky, bizarre gambit to save both herself and those she cares for.
Aphra is basically a Star Wars version of Loki.

PLEASE don't encourage them to turn Phasma into the sequel trilogy's version of Boba Fett, with her permanent exit rewritten dozens of times.

The temple they were in limited Vader's ability to use the force, and the Doc did some heavy damage to his armor/self prior.

Simply put, Aphra did what 95% of Vader's enemies don't do, and accounted for his force abilities in planning her ambush.

That was a great series. I would have sold my soul for Gillen and Spurrier to write a Star Wars film.

Well... applaud Si Spurrier for getting this rumination of toxic self-hatred and depression through the corporate machine. This is certainly one of the more unique things that came out of Disney Star Wars.
