Joker began the week with a record number of Oscar nominations. He ended it with a role in Mortal Kombat, complete with his own adorable hand puppet of his BFF Batman.

Okay, there are no subs and I'm not a native English speaker and I'm having some trouble understanding what they are saying. Could somebody please tell me?

Also, while I'm normally really NOT into MK gore, I must admit, I did laugh at the FRIENDSHIP fatality ^^

Considering that he used a crowbar for some of his moves in the last game he was in (Injustice 2), having him use it here would likely irk some people and have them accuse the developers of recycling assets. Instead, I prefer to think that he actually built his cane around the crowbar he used on Jason Todd, considering how brutal the finale of his Fatal blow was.

I think his Fatal Blow is a pretty clear reference to what he did with Jason Todd. I’d be surprised if the crowbar isn’t one of his customisable options.

Honestly, I wasn't all that thrilled to see Joker revealed, simply because I was concerned that we might see moves and components from his prior appearance in Injustice 2. Thankfully, the developers gave him a move set that feels more in place here and doesn't seem to just be rehashes of what came before.

Noting that we get Croc, Catwoman and BWL skins for characters is a nice touch, and seeing him literally trace out his smile on his own face with his own blood is rather ingenious... Gruesome, but ingenious.
