A: Have you seen Torchwood's "Miracle Day"? Well in a world without death, everybody would be forced to live forever without hope of death's sweet release of the memory of having watched it. All of a sudden death somewhat loses its sting, don't it.

Yep, which is crucial to the issue of Death's necessity. Universal destruction is preferable to a universe without death at all, and The Thanos Imperative demonstrated that.
