I do love Hickmans New Mutants. Espescially 'berto. But it seems really, really weird to have Gladiator and Vulcan in the same room without acknowledging that.

I think its really cool. The idea of being lead by a super AI that's an amalgamation of your civilization's greatest thinkers sounds awesome. Then you realize that many of the greatest thinkers from 500 years ago would be considered moral monsters today and you begin to see the problem with giving the amalgamation of them total power over society and immortality.

Sooner or later, the Supreme Intelligence is gonna kick itself for hiring out its xenoscience projects to Kreeland-Yutani.
Even for an entity that thought blowing up a good chunk of its own galaxy was a good idea, this was monumentally stupid.

(But sadly par for the course.)
