Aang and Katara arrive at Yu Dao but are forced to the ground by the inhabitants attacks.





Then Aang's fan club arrives.





Meanwhile Zuko prepares. He wants to protect his citizens, having experienced their lives firsthand from the time he spent with them.







But that would contradict Air Nomad philosophy as well.

Meanwhile at Toph's Metalbending Academy.





Suki needs their help to stop Zuko from making a mistake. Catching up with Zuko's army they disembark, and use Toph to get beneath a tank and gain control of it.



Meanwhile Smellerbee's protesters are able to break into the city.











Then the Fire Nation army arrives.





With the tanks taken out, the soldiers start fighting.







Aang leaves to mediate and discuss the situation with Roku. He tells Aang that he must fulfill his promise to Zuko, despite the fact that Zuko is his great-grandson.



Team Avatar meets ups and works out they need to stop both sides from fighting.









Zuko end's up facing off against the Earth Kingdom general, when suddenly the battle is interrupted.





Zuko falls into the crevasse but is saved by Aang.







Later Aang contacts Roku again.



We see that Aang has taken Zuko to Iroh's tea house in Ba Sing Se. After four days he's finally awoken from his coma.










Later Aang, meets with the members of his fan-club and tells them that he's impressed by their actions during the battle

The art is really good, especially the heavy rain. It really sets the mood.

Yes it is. It captures the style of the show well.

Gurihiru is one of my favourite (group of) artists. Their work on Gwenpool was also great.

I'm with Zuko on Iroh's revolutionary idea of bubble tea, I've never understood the appeal.

I think they just need to brew milk into the tea.
I mean most bubble tea drinks I know are cold, sweet, and already brewed with milk.
Most tea in Avatar are drunk after steeped in water.

I remember seeing on Tumblr an analysis of why Zuko always passes out whenever he makes a really good decision and is praised for it; it's trauma from a childhood of being denigrated by his own father. His body effectively rejects honest praise for good, meaningful actions. It's kind of tragi-comic, really.

The fact that Toph didn't have a snide remark about how amazing it looked is a shame.

"Yeah that looks really cool; I've never seen anything like it."

But the "it's more impressive up close line is good.

It might be harder to sell certain aspects of blind person sarcasm in the written format.

I think it could be done with just the student apologizing, maybe with a wincing reaction shot.

Would Toph be able to sense the floating helmet since it's off the ground?
I guess she's also saying that will hanging off a ladder so it's a moot point.

And I'm over here in the corner still hoping against hope that the Fire Sage that treated Korra was an Azula that found her own peace.

My wife and I like to think that they brought Azula in as Korra's firebending teacher because no one else could handle her.
