I do notice a lack of habits in this, though. And an excess of guns. And a shoe-horned in 'Chosen One' angle for the protagonist. I'm starting to think this won't be much like the source material at all.
Of course, there are parts of the original comic that I don't think would ever make it into a live-action version:
The original Warrior Nun Areala was so drenched in over-the-top 90s anime gore and violence that I doubt anything short of a cartoon version would be able to do true justice to its ludicrosity. I doubt we'll even get any Nazi cyborgs or eyeball-nippled demons...
