As other's have noted, this series had no business being this good, never mind the sheer enjoyment factor of not taking itself ENTIRELY seriously, but never mocking even the cheesiest versions of He-Man for being as earnest as they were.

Thanks for sharing this, as soon as I get to my LCS again (a few weeks away i suspect) I'm seeking out the TPB!

Seriously. I'm absolutely going to get the trade for this. Hell, I'll probably get two, as my little brother was a *huge* He-Man fan back in the day, and this'd make a great birthday present for him!

I will never be able to watch the original He-Man cartoon without calling him "Annoyingly Chipper He-Man."

reading this inspired me to get the big DC omnibus of all their He-Man series. my only problems with it are them killing off Movie He-Man and Keldor's face didn't get healed at the end. but this was really good IMO.

I was bummed about movie He-Man’s death too. Maybe they couldn’t afford to keep paying to use Dolph Lundgren’s likeness? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Also, how do Keldor and Lyn even kiss with half his face melted off? At least when he transforms his face is restored.
