"The way we see this is, 'It's a crossover, it's not an event.' 'Event' has taken on this meaning of certain things. People use it almost every month, 'There's an event!' But it's not. This is really truly going back to those classic — especially in X-Men — inter-series crossovers." - C.B. Cebulski
"It's not an event. It just looks like an event, reads like an event, and we're hyping it like an event. But it's not an event!"
-"People use it almost every month."- ... Well, given Marvel tends to have an event almost every two months, and right now there's Empyre AND Outlawed going on... can't imagine why they'd say that.
At least Sat didn't draw the Happy Squirrel. Last thing you need in your prophecy of doom is romantic entanglements.
X of Swords looks weird because I don't think it's the event that most people were expecting/looking forward to after the Dawn of X relaunch. X-Men vs the world, X-Men vs machine intelligence, X-Men vs those weird alternate timelines we saw through Moira X (like, Cardinal and Rasputin are definitely coming back after they fell into Xorn's black hole head, given how Powers of X talked about black holes), all of that seemed more pressing. X-Men vs tarot-reading mysticism seems like a sideshow, a distraction.
Maybe it will end up being really interesting and tie things together, but the central premise doesn't sound related to what made HoX/PoX so interesting nor does it pick up on any of the huge plot points it laid down. There's potential here for this to be really disappointing, I think.

Wouldn't be the first time that's happened, either. (Like during the Austen days, when Nocturne and the Brotherhood got sucked in. They came back eventually.)
She's not normally mystical based, that'd normally be Roma's role. Saturnyne is Omniversal Majestryx, the admin side who can wipe out entire realities with a flick of switch.
So she's not quite the right fit, and at the same tme, operates on such a grand scale, that Apocalypse would be waaaaaay beneath her notice.

I'm guessing that's Doug in the last image, standing centre back, and probably to do his best "I HAVE THE POWER!" shout, because how could he resist?
