DC Cybernetic Summer - "The Boys of Summer"

A robotic theme is perhaps not the most obvious for a summer special anthology, but that's what DC did this year. While there is a story that reminds us that Batman built Brother Eye, and one rather trite story about Red Tornado, we also got fun stories revealing that Wonder Woman watches mech anime ("I like to think I have broad tastes"), Robotman enjoys summer in a different way to the fleshy ones and Batman and Superman love to prank Cyborg.

Posted here, by Heath Corson and Scott Koblish, two and a bit pages of the eight page story about Blue Beetle and Booster Gold enjoying themselves (!!!) at the beach. Of course, it's a bit crowded for their tastes, but they have a scheme to solve that problem...

Regretably, whilst this is delightful, just over three pages from this comic were posted last week and until four weeks have passed since publication, four pages are the most that can be posted. in total,

This is the Ted and Booster we know and love. I just hope the events in the Suicide Squad run turn out to be a red herring.
