Wonder Woman 84 #1 - Robin Eisenberg cover stirs the usual suspects...

DC released a preview of the cover of Wonder Woman '84, #1, by artists Robn Esienberg, to tie in with the forthcoming movie.





Now personally, I think this is, frankly, both adorable and beautiful....



But let us say that amongst certain corners of the internet it proved more..... controversial (If you want to look those up, please feel free, but "on your own dime" as they say.)

What could it possiblybe this time---oh she's wearing pants.

Which is not part of her outfit in the film, to my knowledge.

Oh, I can see several things that would tick them off.
1) She's not in a sexually suggestive pose
2) Her breasts are not outrageously large or barely covered
3) She has large hips and legs
4) Her skin tone isn't to their liking

I think I can guess exactly why this artwork upsets some chowderheads.

I hope the film is good. I wanted to like the first one as much as everyone else seemed to, but I felt they could have done a lot more with the premise than they did.

I just want to see this film! After waiting so long to get the first movie, it's beginning to feel like an unending odyssey to get the second due to COVID. If the studio had released it last December as originally intended, we could be discussing the movie months ago! *rolls eyes*
