She visits Queen Hippolyta who had similar issues with Hercules when she was pretending to be an Amazon soldier; she fooled Hercules with a 'mirage mirror' that allowed her to change her shape and make it look like she had two heads to scare him off. Wonder Woman borrows the mirror to teach Steve a lesson.

Before Steve picks her up she sneaks to the carnival to place the Mirage Mirrors there.

Angle Man attempts to escape with his loot via a helicopter but in her elongated state Wonder Woman is able to knock him out of the sky.

Unfortunately, Lois and Lana both happen to choose that very moment to arrive at the carnival. Superman: "This isn't what it looks like!"

I remember getting this one! (A rare crossover when DC didn't usually do it that much.) And actually---I think Steve went with Lois and Lana after that and had a threesome.

"We're gonna rob the carnival, see, and get away on one of those little train rides! No one'll be able to catch us, see, 'cause there's not CARS in the CARnival. Angles, nyeh, I gotta million of 'em!"

... why is Diana attracted to this version of Steve again?

Even being attracted to him (and she seems to be wondering about that herself), why is she trying to get him to go out with her as Diana when she already has a date with him as Wonder Woman?

'cos Robert Kanigher is the literal worst.

(I know Steve is a Golden Age original, but Marston always played him as a doofus who was mostly there to beard up the thinly-veiled WLW shenanigans Diana got up to with Etta and company. Kanigher... not so much.)

Not surprised by that smirk on Clark's face. Silver-Age Superman is always down for some dickery.
